THE ASSIGNMENT: THREE OPTIONS

1. Select one of the 15 films or the Fraggle Rock series and cut a trailer no longer than :90 seconds which promotes the film as a picture of a different genre. Choose the genre from the list above. For example, The War Room (1993) as a Love Story or Groundhog Day (1993) as a Documentary.

2. Select one of the 15 films and cut a commercial which promotes the film as a network television children's TV series. For example, The Thing With Two Heads (1972) as a children's TV Series. The commercial must be exactly :30 or :60 seconds long. No more, no less, to the frame.

3. Select TWO films (you may include the Fraggle Rock series) and cut a trailer no longer than :90 seconds which promotes the 'mashed up' films as a picture of a third genre. For example, combine Easy Rider (1969) with Fraggle Rock (1983) and promote it as an Action/Thriller picture.

REQUIREMENTS

Your trailer must be an advertisement which promotes and sells the "film". Simply telling a story is not sufficient.
